Our latest examples of teambuilding events in a regional folk atmosphere
Beautiful weather, spring climate – perfect conditions for an outdoor integration event.
We’ve had a few warmer days, or even weeks, recently. Winter left and the conditions became perfect to plan outdoor integration.
We have ideal conditions to organise some group integration in the Chochołowska Valley area. In fact, there are two clearings with two restaurants nearby (which gives you additional opportunities to prepare appropriate catering) and you can plan a lot of cool team-building or incentive activities.
Last week we had the opportunity to prepare scenarios for several of our clients in our local regional climate. There were sleigh rides in the spring weather, ending with a “mountain bandit attack” and a bonfire party in the evening, and a larger party during the day with a similar bandit theme – but prepared for competition between teams.
We usually divide the participants according to: the concept that Highlander’s leader, the host of the event, has. Last time, however, the client wanted individual company departments or sales teams to compete with each other – so the division was already prepared in advance.
There was a lot of laughter and fun, the teams took the competition seriously and everyone tried to do their best. The whole thing in the clearing took just over 2 hours, so we had to hurry to stay within the assumed time frame.
However, we can tailor this type of event to the client’s requirements, so that its duration matches the assumptions of the stay and so that the tasks also meet some previously invented concept.
The tasks are usually quite simple – such as hammering a nail, throwing a horseshoe or a stake, shooting an air gun, or running giant skis. It can also be supplemented in the summer with, for example, a task involving production of “oscypek” cheese, or a station where participants will learn to dance or sing. There are a lot of possibilities, which we try to change and prepare each time so that the customer is convinced that everyone will have a great time.
In this case, we also conducted one event in Polish and another in English. The English version turned out very well.
Finally, we will also add, that in addition to typical regional events, we also prepare other sport or educational programs – then we have more tasks, e.g. medicine on the trail, survival or rope techniques. If necessary, you can add an element of competition, although it is not necessary because education is more important here.
