Winter attractions for your event (incentive).
When the winter weather comes, everyone dreams of escaping into the mountains for a moment. Mountain areas, especially snow-covered slopes, are the perfect place to recharge your batteries and regain vitality.
While in Zakopane or Podhale we invite you to take advantage of various winter outdoor attractions, which we can organize for participants of group meetings, conferences or other company events.
The surrounding mountain areas offer unlimited possibilities to plan a very interesting scenario for games (team-building) organized in winter scenery.
Below are a dozen or so examples of proposals, which can be offered to your guests or clients in such a winter period:
1) Group skiing lessons or snowboarding – as part of this proposal, we will organize professional ski or snowboarding instructors for you, order and provide participants’ transfers from the hotel to the slope and back, prepare ski passes for ski lifts. In addition, we will order lunch in a restaurant close to the slopes.
2) Winter Ski Olympics – the organization of the program includes: rental of part of the ski slope for the organization of company competitions, setting up poles or gates, providing electronic time mesurment, servicing professional instructors, referee service, transfers to the slopes, ski passes, cups (prizes) for participants, etc. The Olympics can be organized professionally for people who are already skiing as well as in a very humorous version, with a grain of salt – proposing such competitions for the participants so that the ability to ski is not necessarily needed.
3) Avalanche action – we will take you to the mountains, to a mountain clearing or other place covered with snow – where trained TOPR rescuers will present techniques that are used to search for those missing in the snow / covered by an avalanche. Each participant will be able to learn about the work of rescuers in the field, get to know the equipment, be able to check the operation of avalanche probes, avalanche backpacks (option). It will also be possible in a large area, simulated avalanche – thanks to the instructions – carry out the search for missing persons by yourself. A very nice event – especially when it is run by the right people (especially those who make great contact with the group). Recommended.
4) Snowmobile rides – in Podhale there are a lot of great routes for snowmobiles. We offer snowmobiles trips lasting from 1 to even 6 hours. As part of the organization, we will organize a transfer to the snowmobile base, a bonfire in the open air and possibly other additional attractions.
5) Dog sled rides – while in the mountains, you should also think about the option of organizing dog sled rides for the group. The event itself is not only the ride along the designated route, but also the opportunity to meet the dogs, get used to them, dress braces and prepare the team for riding. Classes can be diversified with canicross, consisting of running with a dog with a special hip belt and harness.
6) Snowshoe trips – we will provide you with special snowshoes that allow you to better navigate the snow in winter and organize a trip along the unpaved mountain trail. A very nice proposition for active people. It can be also organized after dark, than we equippe everyone with a headlamp.
7) Sledge ride, SLEDGE RIDE and once again winter sledge ride – it will definitely always be one of the most popular activities that always works. We have many different route suggestions – we can do it in the center, e.g. from the Hotel to the Inn, but also, above all, we can go on the best sleigh ride to the Chochołowska Valley. For those who are looking for something new – we recommend a sleigh ride in the Gorce Mountains. As part of the sleigh organization, we provide transfer from the hotel, bonfire, highlander band and for those who wants – also good drink in the sledge. Welcome.
8) Shooting range – for those who want to shoot with a firearm, please be advised that we organize shooting even in winter. Military lovers will certainly not be disappointed when they can try to shoot our weapons from World War II.
9) Cross-country skiing – we invite groups for cross-country skiing – cross-country skiing annually attracts more and more crowds of new fans. And there are really many routes throughout the Podhale region. Everyone will certainly be very happy.
10) Skitouring – skitouring just like cross-country skiing these days is really one of the most popular forms of spending free time. You can go to the mountains to places previously unknown, using the ski routes, which have been marked out in the Tatra National Park and more. Anyone who tries it once will fall in love with this discipline. recommend
11) Let’s get to know the World of Mountains – an integration event in the form of a mountain trip under which each participant will have the opportunity to learn about such issues as: navigation and how to move in the mountains, the dangers of the mountains, the weather and its impact on mountain activities, the art of dealing with difficult situations, mountain equipment and ways to use it, the dangers of the cave world. We divide the participants into groups, each group gets its escort (a professional guide or TOPR rescuer) and we set off on a mountain adventure.
12) Trip to Termal Baths (Hot Springs) – we invite you to a trip to selected thermal resorts in Podhale or Slovakia (obligatory ID card or Passport). As part of the trip we will organize a transfer, guide / escort, thermal tickets and optional lunch for participants. The nearest thermal baths are: Terma Bania, Terma Bukowina Tatrzańska, Gorący Potok, Termy Szaflary, Termy Chochołowskie and Aquapark Zakopane. In nearby Slovakia – we can take you to Meander Park, Aquacity Poprad or Tatralandia. All baths operate without interruptions during the winter – it is a great attraction to try winter swimming in open pools in winter scenery.
13) Highlander Ski Festival – carnival of skiing – humorous competitions in the regional climate organized on a ski slope or a mountain clearing. You do not need to be able to ski. In addition, we can provide catering on the slopes, possibly a bonfire and a highlander band.
14) Winter highlander’s picnic – organized in a mountain glade, the participants are divided into groups that compete with each other in various funny competitions, e.g.: snowshoeing, crazy riding on a tractor tube, sled races, making a snowman, snowball king, blind team, building coumons and many many other competitors. The whole is run in a highlander dialect by our Harnas (or just in English version with help of interpreter), who will make everyone willing to participate in the proposed games. A great proposition for an outdoor winter party, additionally by the fire, with highlander mulled wine and to the sounds of regional music.
15) Expedition to the highlander’s North Pole – another outdoor team funny event, slightly different but also very interesting competitions. We will, among other things, build a highlander’s cottage, mosquito net, i.e. using the received objects rope and 2 carabiners, take the beer out of the marked circle. As part of the game, we offer different variants and different games to choose from. However, our host “Harnaś” will always come up with something new during the game. Finally, participants receive a certificate of conquer a Highlander’s North Pole.
16) Igloo – we invite you to a mountain trip during which participants will build a large snow igloo, and will also be trained in avalanche techniques.
17) Downhill run – an integrative ski run that will consist of skiing through the designated route, within the appropriate time limit, and above all demonstrating on the way, at the checkpoints intelligence, cleverness and good humor. The route of the exit will be taken from Kasprowy, down the old slope, through Hala Gąsienicowa, straight to Kuźnice. Event participants will be divided into competing teams in the hotel.
18) Fun on the ice rink – we provide rental of the ice rink at certain times and the organization of integration games on ice, or we can simply provide an ice rink, skate rental and participants will simply improve their ice skating. For those seeking more thrills (in advance) we can organize a hockey match, provide professional outfits, instructors and referees. Organization of curling classes is another option. Curling can really be a very interesting option for integration at the ice rink.
19)Trips to Slovakia – The path in the treetops in the Bachledowa Valley – on a beautiful sunny day, it’s a great option to have a great beautiful views of the snowy Tatra Mountains.
